The Boatshed is run by volunteers and is open at various times to accommodate different groups and individuals who use the facility.  You are welcome to visit the Boatshed when it is open.  A sign will be placed outside the building advising it is open and you are welcome to come in and have a look around.  If you want to arrange a specific time to visit the Boatshed please email contact@portsoyboatshed.org

No, there is no charge for visiting the Boatshed, however we do appreciate donations which are used to fund the work we do.

Yes, free parking is available in the small car park opposite the Boatshed or around the harbour area.

Yes, we offer various boat building packages for schools, organisations and families.  Please see the dedicated pages via the Boat Building section for more information.  You don’t need to have any previous experience as our volunteers will guide you through the process and be on hand to help as required.
